Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of four days and largely consistent throughout…though maybe leaning towards Day 3-4. The 2012 pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe and tart tropical and orchard fruit: pineapple, peach cup, tangerine, petrol, minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. What a banger! AlZINGer does it again. These beg for some time in the cellar but few have the patience. Wow. Drink now through 2032 easy. — 10 months ago
2017. The Riesling was not as effusive as the Grüner, but improved throughout our dinner! — a day ago

2017. Changed the most of the wines we had tonight. Vegetal aromas turned citrus then had after an hour or so the finish turned a slightly bitter nuttiness. — a day ago
