Ran out of the wine we ordered, and the bartender recommended this one. Good call. With the pork shank, it was delicious. — 2 months ago
A Cabernet Sauvignon dominant blend of all 5 Bordeaux varieties, aged for 10 months in 25% new French oak, deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits, oak and cigar box spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, cherry and currants with cacao and herb spice. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak, spice and earthy mineral character. Nice! — 4 months ago
Must love roasted veggies. But this has shed some of its oak and youthful reduction. In a good spot with another 5-10 years of interest. — 20 days ago
Ein herrlicher Carmenere. Wahnsinnig viel Frucht, rund, saftig. Top! — 3 months ago
Lovely and robust bouquet in the glass.
Nice strong oakey presence, w/ nutty and peppery finish.
Very solid. Not sure it drinks equal to others @ $130 but very good — 9 months ago
Jarvis will always have a special place in my heart and in the wine scene. To believe this was first made my Will Javis in 8th grade as a science project is iconic. You can taste the difference in using fresh oak barrels. This Cabernet franc would pair really well with lamb chops or a ribeye, Camembert cheese, or even some fire roasted veggies. — 3 months ago
Fantastic and light with right amount of sweet — 5 months ago
