Just an awesome Chardonnay. — 8 years ago
Nose - lilacs, soil, clay amphora and erasers! (Haha) Flavors - cranberry and tart blueberries. Mouthfeel - a bit sharp and acidic with a semi dry finish some tannins but not too much. Look - gorgeous garnet color. Food - went sooo very well with the lamb my hubs made. — 3 months ago
Picked this up a few months ago from the state store when I saw Louis Dressner. Seems different from the only other fleurie I’ve had. Lots of earth juice with raspberry. — 6 years ago
It seems like the price of this creeps up every year which is vexing. The speciale is rich and intensely vinous and umami, with cutting acidity (non-malo) tart green apple and mandarin orange, spearmint, spice and toast. Still think I prefer the basic cuvée pound for pound — 7 years ago
Light-med body, dry, acidic. Mineral cherry soil. — 4 months ago
Light garnet color with a small ruby core. Aromas of wet soil, red berries and dried rose petals. Flavors of raspberries, red currants, mushrooms and savory spices. Long lasting finish. Gripping acidity with very silky tannins. Light bodied and quite savory but still full of finesse. Needs a bit of aeration to fully open up. Solid value and nice mid-week option. Thanks for the bottle, Kase. — 4 months ago
Very nice Pinot. Good cherry notes and a little earthy. Paired well with a beef stew — 9 months ago
Elegant, velvety in mouth and very balanced. 2015 red — 5 years ago
Tiny 4000 bottle production growers champagne. A lively fruity taste, dry but not too dry. Slightly hectic bead but very, very good.
I love discovering these gems 😃 — 6 years ago
