Cheap and cheery. Crisp and fresh. Perfect balmy Thursday night refreshment. — 3 years ago
Chocolatey, leathery mouth feel with mainly dark cherry from a fruit perspective. A tiny little spice on the back with a touch of nutmeg. Paired well with Goulash Di Manzo (short rib stew over polenta with mushrooms). — 15 days ago

Mazzoni's 2015 Ghemme Ai Livelli is gorgeous. Floral and savory notes infuse the bouquet with notable presence. Light on its feet, yet wonderfully layered, the 2015 is super expressive right out of the gate. There's quite a bit of complexity, while the tannins are nicely mellowed by time. That makes for an incredibly appealing wine to drink now and over the next handful of years. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, March 2022)

Best one of the Kenzo tasting. 2020. sage, white pepper, blueberry, limestone, vanilla, cigar box — 3 months ago
1996 vintage. Multiple (6) bottles tasted 1hr, 2hrs and 4 hrs after decanting. Sleek and linear. Not gratuitous and giving just yet but close. Needs another 5-7 years to absolutely ingratiate itself into your psyche/cellar/glass if you're a robot/AI or actually have patience. Sexy af. Decided and dedicated temptress throwing out just enough historic, Lalande-styled love currently to seduce completely if your patience is lacking. Total siren song. Fill those ears with wax and watch your bank account. Beware. This just may be the longest lived Lalande vintage I've ever hit. Discounted the 1996 vintage big-time initially but deffy mistaken with this specific/particular wine. Hard to locate but if you do, it's a go to. Been trying to source since tasting this vintage, without luck, since this visit. Number one on the Most Wanted BDX list currently. Pray for me. 4.4.23. — 2 years ago

Outstanding. Superb and sweeping aromatics of flowers and mid season cherry and a tiny hint of plum. Gorgeous. Tobacco and florals for days. So juicy, dense and elegant with glorious fruit and juiciness. Intense minerality on the finish and velvety but substantial and perfectly ripe tannins. Long finish. — 7 days ago
