Though I loved the shroomy, earthy nose, the wine overpowered everything, including Dino's gorgeous Cowboy cuts! Not everyone agreed (it was WOTN for some) but the almost syrupy element threw me. Maybe Amarone just not my thing? In any event, La Campagnola Italian BYO worth the drive!
