Initially shy but inviting nose of blackberry, echoed on the medium full plate which adds notes of licorice, dark plum, and patent leather. Juicy, medium plus acidity enhancers the fruit and, paired with medium tannins, yields a very food-friendly Syrah that's a natural for steaks, roasts, or grilled fare. Try it with black olive pizza! This is a very pretty wine. Light color, but so fragrant, with sappy cherry/kirsch and a little raspberry, plus a highly-saline crushed stone minerality and a musky floral note. Flavorful but light-footed in the mouth. Crisp acids and little chalky tannin keep things together. Great with take-out Chinese food tonight! — 3 months ago

This 13 year old Cabernet Sauvignon was amazing. Full body with plenty of fruit and so amazingly soft. We decanted this bottle about an hour before serving it with a nicely seasoned and grilled sirloin steak with a little soy sauce. Bright gold color. Lovely aromas of white flowers, green apple and orange zest. Flavors of unripe peach, lemon, apple, asparagus and a distinct note of white pepper on the long and lingering finish.
