Nose: deep dense perfume. Blackberry flower. Intense wild blackberries. Intoxicating. Deep lilacs. As this opens a seriously dense floral perfume. lilacs and violets. Very sensual. Multi hundred dollar burgundy nose. More pink roses 2 hours in.
Palate: savory. Blackberries. So fresh. Blackberry licorice. Wow. Incredibly delicious. Very young.

What a great showing. Nose of tangelo, moss, lemon confection and a deep background of honey. Stunning depth. Palate is ripe and rich but so textured like icing on a cake and terrific exotic citrus tang and flesh on tbt exceptionally long finish. Fresh and energetic. This is very good but the Rieslings at Thorle went to the next level in 2020. Especially the Holle. — 3 months ago
VERY Cherry, the nose is also floral, slightly resinous. It has that lovely damp tree bark thing going on. Autumn on display.
Even after 1/2 hr. Out, it’s quite acidic up front( disclaimer: mouth has been up/down post Covid) lovely minerals and soil.
Worth further investigation. I might hold a couple years, but pleasure is now.

Gorgeous nose. Wide open. Confectionary, superb limestone and wet stones. Some green apple and apricot. Palate is structured and intense with lovely apple and apricot fruit. Long, tangy finish. So pure and wonderful. Outrageous value. Good concentration and sap. Excellent balance. Just a great 1er Cru wine. — 8 months ago
