Great wine! Peel’s choice ❤️ — a month ago
Rather amazingly, Wolfram Stempel only began making Mosel riesling in 2017. He is non-traditional in some aspects of his technique
DAY1
Served with the Vinloq System
👃Fruits, minerals, herbs, matchsticks & petrol
👅Citrus, nitrates like canned meats with a salty mineral finish. Savory & interesting. Unique for 🇩🇪 riesling. Not quite precise yet
Remaining wine refrigerated under Vinloq preservation
DAY24
There is a lot going on with this wine. Nitrates, salty, citrus, mint, minerality. Savory for sure. Silky texture
My first Wolfram Stempel wine. Clearly riesling but unique. Very enjoyable & impressively crafted
More cohesive on DAY24 after “slow decanting”with Vinloq.
Time will be kind to this wine. I believe it will only improve with bottle age👍

An excellent Wagner Family wine that I would consider a baby traditional Caymus at an excellent price point. A must have if you can find it! — 3 days ago

Smooth, full bodied, good value. — a month ago
Costco $15 and $25 corkage at Picaro. We have enjoyed several bottles of this wine this past 2 weeks in Mexico. Great value priced wine. Nothing on our bottle says “Hope Family Wines“, maybe this is a property that Wagner bought? — a month ago
Light, bright and drinkable — a month ago
Winemaker Joseph J. Wagner is a 4th generation winemaker with winemaking roots in the Napa Valley since 1906. Met Joe several times. Deep Ruby with red berry fruit aromas, tar and sweet spice notes. The palate shows ripe raspberry and jammy cherry with sweet vanilla oak, cacao and pepper spice notes. Soft tannins and bright acidity, well balanced, with mineral tones on a long finish ending with toasty spice! Nice! — a month ago

What more needs to be said; 2008 Spatlese. Little petrol, apple, apricot, nectarine, hint of RS. Delicious! — 20 days ago
