Difficile à battre pour le prix. Un tout petit 13$ — 7 days ago
Bought a case at the outset of Covid 2020. This wine kept us until tonight...our last bottle...Sept. 19th 2020. Every bottle holds a memory. Tonight paired with a fettuccini primavera in a garlic/red pepper cream sauce. A chill in the air dining al fresco, but this wine continues to deliver. Light minerality. A touch of salinity. Crisp apple, honeysuckle and pear. Perfectly balanced. Can’t wait for the next vintage. — a month ago

Last vin tasted was ‘11 as there were no ‘12 or ‘13. Deep Ruby, blend 70% Tempranillo, 20% Graciano & 10% Mazuelo, aged in new French oak for 15 months (‘11 was 24 mos). Concentrated red fruit aromas with floral, oak & pepper spice. On the palate ripe red fruit flavors, complex with layers fruit & spice, noting espresso, cacao and licorice. Tannins are tight and will soften with time. Well balanced, long finish ending with fruit, spice and oak. Decant now, otherwise let sit in the cellar. Nice! — 2 months ago
Really good. Sometimes an Italian Bordeaux blend is what you want.
Nose has some lovely pleasant earthiness. Spectacular. Gorgeous aromatics. Wtf? I gave this a 9.1 at Vinitaly.
I did see upside but only had 15 minutes to taste. This stuff is THE SHIT.
Blackberry fruit. Good juiciness. Very good deliciousness. Some spice.
Not over the top obnoxiously ripe. Emilia Romagna. North of Tuscany. So less ripe.
