This wine is medium-dark in the glass and offers up a perfumed nose of red fruit, sweet oak spice, smoke and hint of spearmint. The palate is just as delightful, with cherries, raspberries and red currant flavors joining together. The tannins are sweet, while the finish is medium length and savory. It was great with an Italian sub sandwich and also a hit with arancini and fennel-laced meatballs. — 15 days ago
Dark garnet purple with near black core. Abundant nose and full-bodied palate yield juicy (medium plus) acidity) blueberry ,and blackberry cobbler. Medium firm, supple tannins in the mix making for a classic Italian food wine. Enjoy with beef dishes, game, or a high end pizza Margherita. Drink now through 2027. — a month ago
Fairly intense greco aromatics. More so than other vintages. Starts to blow off with air. Lemon flowers. Lemon oil. The Greco aspect becomes a beautiful integrated element.
As it aerates more like this lemon flower perfume of the gods.
Palate is lovely Almost honeyed a bit. Mineral. Lemony. Lemon essence. Lemon mountain stream. Very clean and elegant.
As this opens elegant richness. Almost a meursaulty finish. As it opens like rich delicious mountain stream. Some apricot in the background.
It’s almost hilarious what a dedicated team can do when quality is the only thing that matters. This is world class wine.

At five years old, it’s still fresh but definitely getting some nutty characteristics. Would love to see where this wine goes in a few more years. — 15 days ago
Volcanic earthy Anglianico worth every penny — 15 days ago
The 2019 Rosaenovae is a beautiful example of Aglianico Rosato. It’s silky and pliant, with notes of ripe apricot and tropical fruits giving way to a buzz of zesty acids and minerals, all lifted by peppery florals and spice, then tapering off with admirable length and an almondy richness. $17.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, June 2021) — 20 days ago
