Digging this soft cherry Grenache with nice tannins — 6 days ago
The 4th and final wine in the tasting yesterday at Clos Mogador. Montsant to the north provides the Priorat tasting experience without the expense of Priorat. This was 100% Grenache. A bright maroon in colour showing red fruits of strawberry and also pomegranate which carry through onto the palate with a touch of cinnamon added. Good value and great for current consumption. — a month ago
Medium body, prunes abound, delicious! — 15 days ago
Such a great value (and Calatayud generally is a wildly underrated region for Grenache). Nose has concentrated essence of framboise ooze, along with a bit of spice and crushed rock dust. On the palate, it’s got dense flavor concentration, very pure fruit, nice acids (especially for a Grenache), and a bit of dusty tannins. So good. Should have gotten a case. — 9 days ago
Wonderful mouthfeel, cherry and tobacco, with a hint of chocolate that leaves a semi-sweet aftertaste. Light bodied and easy to drink, pairs nicely with duck and a well-seasoned steak. — 3 days ago
Minerality. With risotto and amberjack. — 9 days ago

I’ve never had a wine from the region of Catalonia near the border of Aragon! Would love to visit the area to see Antoni Gaudi’s architecture in person. This wine made my jawls pucker with the first sip but ended up being really light and refreshing on the palate. — 8 days ago
