Dark red plum on the nose. Rich deep flavors of black cherry, velvety soft on the tongue, low acidity, a hint of raisin at the end. A real luscious red. — a year ago

Velvety, citrus, cinnamon, baking spices, mulberries. Drenched bouquet.
This is the rare (even in Italy! 🇮🇹) Refosco grape. Edward, who writes at Grape Collective, hand selected this bottle for me when I asked him for an idiosyncratic take at the Greenwich Village’s Some Good Wine.
This thing is straight cherry juice. Reserved yet surprising acidity, rich, propulsive tannins, and a nice apple skin herbal sage kick to round out the flavor notes, making this wine a layered, quixotic, charmer — 7 months ago
First time with this grape for me. A nice, medium bodied wine with black cherry and fresh Italian prune with its skin dusting. Is that dried orange peel? Something drying. This one is all about Septembers picking these plums from my parents' old tree in the garden. Nothing too complex. I like this. — 2 years ago
