Hillside Select is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged 32 months in 100% new 60-gallon French oak barrels. Deep Ruby with pronounced aromas of red/black fruits, with hints of cedar, floral, oak, herbs & spice. On the palate flavors of concentrated ripe blackberry, cherry and raspberry preserves, pepper spice, leather and earthy cacao. Fine savory tannins, well balanced, long finish, great structure ending with fruit, spice, oak and earthy mineral character. Outstanding! — 12 days ago

Enjoyed this with filet. It required a bit of breathing before it opened up; reasonably smooth a lighter on tannins; perhaps slightly young? — a day ago
It is time for a delicious Cabernet for my #FridayCabernetfix.
Dark ruby in color, almost Inky, with a short reddish rim.
Strong fruity nose of blackberries, sweet plums, cooked cherries, toasted cedar, vanilla, tobacco, Za'atar, chocolates, coffee, cola, black pepper, eucalyptus and spices.
Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, vanilla, licorice, light cola, coffee, spices, tobacco, dark chocolates, light earth and black pepper.
Long spicy finish with fine grained tannins, peppercorn and cherries.
This is a wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon from Stags Leap. Spicy and interesting. Showing great complexity and mouthfeel at this point.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 2 hours of airtime, when the tannins calm down.
This 6 year old Single Vineyard Cabernet, is drinking very nicely now, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
I had this vintage a couple of years ago and it is even better now.
Delicious and engaging. Fruit forward and good by itself as a sipping wine.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
