Been two plus years and wow wow wow is this the best bottle yet. Stunning nose of chestnut, soaring minerality, deep mid season cherries but smothered with wet leaves. Also amazing fireplace aromas. The palate is a marvel. Beats the sh*t out of sooooo many Barolo and Barbaresco at much higher price points. Omg the earthy sweetness on this is insanely magical. Perfect balance and elite elite finesse. Insane inner mouth aromas. What velvety texture and insane juiciness. Perfect fruit/tannin delivery balance. Just so so incredibly epic. This estate is magic. — 4 months ago
Probably infanticide, the wood, though Slovenian oak in fairly large 36HL(?) botti is plumply present. The nose would give the impression of a fruity palate, but it has a very nice bitterness to it that lifts it with the acidity. The tannins grip your lower lip for sure. I’m glad I have a few more to wait on.
A bargain fulfilled.

This is brut zero rose.
The aromatic nose shows pink grapefruit, strawberry, lime, light yeast, and hint of ginger. The palate is vivacious yet poised with round acidity, not something I expected from brut zero. Gentle persistent mousses.

2018 was better. 2019 is smoothier, earthy, vanilla with some pleasant fruit and pepper. — 6 months ago
Muddy ruby color with a brick rim. Aromas of black cherry/currant/plum with hints of wet soil, tar, leather and truffles. Same fruits on the pallet with additional notes of black licorice, dried sage and tobacco. Nice acidity level and the tannins are mellowing out. Medium bodied and very traditional in style. Touch of milk chocolate and menthol on the very long finish. Could age longer but glad we opened this one. Quite the crowd pleaser. Thanks for sharing, Kase and Petey! — 3 months ago
Very nice barbaresco. Decanted 3+ hours. Have another bottle which I won’t try for at least 5 years, but this was quite accessible with the decant today. Wonderful nose - so classic. On the palate the wine tasting like cherry infused dirt - not in a bad way, but a real thing. Finish was long with excellent acid. Nice pairing with pork chops. — 5 months ago

Medium deep ruby , quite young looking . Some dry , wood spice at first then raspberry, red cherry . Quite sweet on the palate , cherry , touch of anis and mint . Quite rich and generous , firm gritty tannins , touch of alcohol warmth noticeable . Good balanced acidity . Showing pretty young still , s bit rustic in style , showing the warmth of the vintage . Needs a bit more time , better in 3–5 years and will last well a further 5-8 — a month ago
