1991 vintage. Decanted and tasted after two hours. Still with plenty of medium body/weight. Good amount of earth interspersed with dark fruits and excellent concentration on the finish. Grippy in all the right places and tasting like it’s on the tail end of the optimal zone. Maybe another 3-4 years in current state. 3.24.23. — 6 months ago
Beautifully balanced wine. Just a hint of fruit, nice earthiness, and mouthwatering acidity. — 10 months ago
Pale lemon in colour. Barb tasted before I did and could smell the Sauvignon Blanc immediately - musky, grapefruit (gooseberry and a trace of passion fruit as it warmed up). Medium + intensity on the palate - fully integrated oak and diminished acidity - citrus and grapefruit. Overall - delicate and restrained. An excellent wine but paying a lot for the label. — 2 months ago
Plush second label goodness. Archetypal richness and surprisingly soft tannins, 5 years might have been the sweet spot. — 9 months ago
Blackberry jam, rich fruit, rocks with the ‘za — a year ago

Great nose that was not well fulfilled on the palette. Perhaps this wine is on the decline. — 24 days ago
