Tasted blind. Light gold color, a little lighter than the BBM next to it. Similar nose. Notes of citrus, petrol, wood, tan spice, some apricot and some white flowers. Massive richness in the mouth. Glycerol. More power and a little less acidity than the BBM, but over the night this ran ahead of it's peer. Guessed 99 Leflaive BBM. 97+ — 15 days ago
For me the 2017 vintage marked Leflaive’s return to stardom, after (arguably) 2004. I can’t believe this is the warm 2018. It’s stunningly elegant, finessed and pure with zero fat or potential “blockiness” of some 2018 white burgs. It’s layered with gorgeous perfumed aromatics of citrus blossoms, lilies, stone fruit, exotic spice and the perfect amount of reduction we love. The palate has killer tension, vibrancy, racy lemony acids and a lovely texture that gives way to its focused, spice tinged and persistent finish. So good! — 22 days ago
Pale lemon with fruit and floral aromas, 80% of the blend is from the south-facing Bonneveaux, with the rest from Les Coères and limestone-driven Perrières. On the palate flavors of ripe stone and citrus fruits, lively acidity with nutty spice notes. Medium+ finish ending with a rich creamy texture and wet earthy character. Nice! — a month ago
Tasted blind. Medium gold color. Matchstick nose. Notes of apricot, citrus, white stone/limestone, petrol, tan spice. Massive acidity in the mouth, matched by a ton of fruit and structure. This evolved all night, getting better and better. Guessed 99 Leflaive Batard. 96+ — 15 days ago
Outstanding white Burg. All the stony white fruit yet creamy texture and finish of the class. Yum. 6/12/22 BD Grad celebration with Cindy/David Et Al. — 14 days ago

Great looking bottle, bought on release. Decanted for a few hours, then taken to Saison in SF. Canary yellow gold color, looks young and youthful. Enticing sweet fruit nose. Notes of citrus, kiwi, quince, tan spice, white acacia flowers and wet river stone. Huge impact on the first sip - massive core of fruit, held up by lots of acidity and structure. This has everything going for it, and can easily get better over the next 5-10 years. Hopefully my other bottles of this are equal to this great showing. 96+ — 17 days ago
Clear light yellow. Nose of match stick and stone. Palate of lemon curd, tree fruit, stones and minerals. Perfect balance and a long smooth finish. I detect no oak. Flirting with perfection.
