Blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petite Verdot and 1% Merlot, deep Ruby with aromas of Napa Valley classic Cabernet Sauvignon's pronounced aromas of black cherry, cassis, and vanilla hits your glass. Flavors of ripe blackberry, baked black fruit, strawberry, and a touch of espresso, balanced acidity. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, cedar and a touch of herb mint. Will benefit from some short aging. — 22 days ago
Decant for sediment and pour (lots of chunky/fine sediment). A remarkable murky garnet with bricking. On the nose: Intoxicating notes of stewed dark fruit, green bell pepper, sweet vanilla, menthol, worn leather, dried herbs. Taste: soft, smooth, delicate, balanced wine with prune, cedar, graphite, and a sweet spice tobacco medium plus finish. YUM!!! Still holding its own and fun to drink and discuss tonight. Cheers. — 14 days ago
Starts off with cherries, plums and fig. Elegant, and after opening up for awhile a little brightness pokes through the dry tannins. Still very young to drink for this 2021 vintage. — 18 hours ago

Still has plenty of life left. Light on its feet, cherry, red apple skin, & other red fruit dominant up front, with sage, menthol herbal notes and gravely earth on the finish. Listed 13.5%, could be even lower. Long finish. Merlot dominant this vintage and shows more of those hallmarks than a modern Harlan likely does. 4th leaf & never released? (allegedly). A softer, quieter wine than expected, lacking structure and more green than I would have thought, but still bright and enjoyable especially at this age — 11 days ago
