This was my note from my last tasting of this: Bought this after tasting at the vineyards. I usually avoid non N. Rhone viognier like the plague (or Covid, too soon?). But this was excellent, and compelling enough to make me buy more than 1 btl. Notes from Day 2 open, and in the fridge overnight, and then in a refrigerated bag during a hike followed by a long car ride. On the nose: peach, tangerine, lychee, so vibrant and with a soft minerality. On the palate: excellent acidity, which is always the problem outside the Rhone, good density...sappy without being overly oily, fantastic minerality on the palate with a soft bitter walnut note. Excellent.
This time, perhaps a bit less minerality. — 19 days ago

Medium bodied, red. Consistent throughout the bottle. Subtle aroma of berries on the nose. Cassis & boysenberry on the fore palate with hints of spice and smoke on the long dry finish. (Grilled “hill” ribeye, asparagus, kale & butternut salad, whipped feta on toasted baguettes on the lanai with K&A) — a month ago
