Bodegas Olivares

Finca Hoya de Santa Ana Jumilla Rosado 2020

100% Grenache Rose’. Very “Provencal-like.” Red fruit aromas and flavors. Hint of white pepper. Loads of minerality and mouth watering acidity. Fresh and pretty well balanced. — a month ago

Bodegas El Nido

El Nido Jumilla Cabernet Sauvignon Monastrell 2017

76.8 acres of very old vaso trained Monatrell vines & 28.8 acres of 30 year old Cab Sauvignon. A blend of about 70% Cab Sauvignon & 30% Monastrell aged 2 years. Dark Ruby with big black berry flavors & complex spice. Rich ripe cherry & blackberry flavors with sweet vanilla spice, well balanced with acidity. Tannins are approachable but the wine is still very young, long finish ending with oak notes. Still needs time, don’t be tempted but if you wait this will be great! Tasting Sample! — 22 days ago

Jumilla Monastrell - Syrah

Impressive on the nose, followed by a smooooooooth on the palette sip. Some great jammy red fruit that tapers into a nice tart finish. Bold and expressive, a different experience from a sturdy Rioja. Great glass! — 6 days ago

Comoloco Jumilla Monastrell

Très bon, un vin assez passe-partout,
Très représentatif d’un Jumilla, mais avec une toute petite note légèrement sucré.
Fruit rouge, léger boisé et épicé.

Jumilla Red Blend 2015

I've been told Spanish wines are a bargain and it's true! Lots of spice from my three favorite grapes - 45% Cab Sauv, 45% Monastrell, and 10% Syrah for the 2018. If I were to name it, I'd call it a Back-End Blend. At $15 a bottle I'll definitely buy it again. — 18 days ago
