Ripe, juicy fruit, big and bold, grippy and vibrant, some rough edges but really good. — 12 days ago
This 9 year old is drinking very nicely now.
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Shows a great nose with wild flowers.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.
Showing red cherries, currants, light wood, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, peppercorn and earth.
Spicy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
Good by itself, and a good food wine too.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
90 points. — a month ago

Giro wine #1; tart watermelon — 23 days ago
This is the epitome of Italian wine. Dirty earth, pepper corn and hot climate cherry. High tannins and acidic. God I miss Tuscany. — 2 months ago

Solid Italian Red from a consistent producer. Bright garnet color with a ruby core. Aromas of violets, black cherries and dried herbs. Pallet is black cherry/berry focused with notes of cedar, black licorice, baking spices and those dried herbs. Hint of pine on the long finish. Medium bodied and good structure. Elegant texture.
