Spelt Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

Dark, intensely concentrated, blackberry plum and crushed wildflowers on the nose, Italian bitterness, tannins, slightly heavy oak component but this wine handles it, finish is a bit alcoholic. All in all, a robust red that probably could have spent another couple years in bottle before opening.
