Solid mid range burg. — 9 months ago
2003 vintage. Generally speaking not a very interesting vintage ( too hot for Pinot Noir), but this is a very good effort. Not sure for how many years all the grapes of this 4 ha Premier Cru vineyard were sold to Jadot, but at least in this vintage the label says " monopole". In 2017 the Clos was sold to the American owners of Leclerc-Briant Champagne and ever since the 2018 vintage it is sold under the "Domaine de la Commaraine" estate name. Attractive nose with strawberry jam, spices and dried flowers. Slightly jammy fruit (but not cooked), with good balancing acidity and a charming personality. Abv. 13,5% — 3 years ago
Oxidated, nutty, apples. Delicious. Super unique — 4 months ago
2018 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 10 mins and 45 mins. Light body. Initially reticent but started to emerge after quite a bit of decanter agitation. Still, a bit more on the delicate side with cinnamon, rhubarb, tree bark, spearmint and raspberry impressions. Tasting like it's in a period of transition but it fills you up to the brim, Jim. 05.09.25. — 6 months ago

Red and dark fruit, with roses and earthy, gamey notes. — 4 months ago
A more robust Pinot. Low transparency. Good fruit with some Tannin present so will age and smooth out over time. April 2025. — 7 months ago
