Looks: very light translucent red with some orange hue at the sides. Almost looking like a Ribenna.
Smell: a lot of plums, cherries, oak, vanilla, very light floral and chocolate notes and coming through in the background.
Taste: chocolate, coffee, plums, cherries with very mellow tannins blending together nicely in the wine. Oaky and slight leathery in finish. Long lasting lingering finish reminiscent of 100% dark chocolate.

NV. Had to lay down on its side in the fridge and a huge amount of solids gathered on the side of the bottle. Poured the first glasses without disturbing the solids, but the second glasses could pass for an opaque heavily fruited raspberry sour ale. (Which I love!) Minimal bubbles. Funky finish that hints of Sicily! — 5 days ago

Color: very deep red garnet with no sediments. Dark cherry plum floral and cream vanilla nose, with floating scents of spice and very subtle cedar. Taste — dark cherry cola hits the pallet with a bang—luscious and bold! Mid pallet brings out the spices and cream vanilla flavors with a long chocolate espresso finish. A nice structure and could lay down for awhile still. A favorite Pinot of mine! — 24 days ago
Nose is screaming eagle mosel green apple out of the gate. Wow. Just leaps into the nose. Super ripe green apple. willi Schaefer levels of concentration. Interlaced minerality. Wow. Just that crunchy mosel minerals. Almost minerals made from petrified rips green apples they’re almost sweet. Gorgeous nose. Wow. As it averages it’s awesome. Almost a mineral green apple flower.
Palate is mind boggling. Extra extra extra levels of dense concentrated green apple. Some Grapefruit pith. Intensely mineral. Very very dense for a mosel wine. Sick concentration. Some candied grapefruit. Tremendous bright acidity. Wakes the palate. A little salty. Almost savory. Massive minerality. Almost painful like an explosion of rocks. Very delicious.
Long finish. Like you sucked on a delicious rock and it powdered in your mouth. Stunning. Terrific dense green apple in the finish. Almost mineral spice. — a month ago

Nice balance between funk and lightness Inhaling the aromatics here. Light body and sour cherry finish. I would lay down for 2 more years. — a month ago
Certainly too young to drink now, but showed with lovely ripe berry fruit, black currant, and aggressive but pleasant wood tannins to spare. Slightly mentholated.Needs to lay down for another 15-20. — 17 days ago
