Medium complexity. Needs ~three years in the cellar to unwind a bit but this is good juice. — 2 days ago
Another good Costco rioja choice. Would get again. May have liked this one better than the first — 13 days ago
Plum, cocoa, raspberry, and subtle dust on the nose. Rich, yet dry. Notes of cocoa powder, ash, dried raspberry, unsweet dark chocolate, blackberry, subtle cranberry, tar, & earth. Medium body & tannins. Beautiful balance of fruit & wooly dryness; alcohol hides well; pairs wonderfully with food. — 11 days ago
Much to be thankful for! This will be a blockbuster in a few years. Still drinking really young. Could easily go 25-30. — 8 days ago
Drank at Majestic’s Plymouth opening on 12th Nov 2024.
Clean red, paler on rim.
Spices on the nose.
Spices and red berries on the mouth, long lasting flavour.
Quite nice wine. — 6 days ago
For $19, a bargain. Robust all around but balanced. Long finish. Earthy. Dark and inky. Rich blackberry. Buy again. Better than other $30-40 riojas w more age. — 6 days ago
Beautiful Spanish maker of more than a century that may have the best price/value relationship of any winemaker. — 21 days ago

Sipping Fine Wine
A blend of Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot, aged in French oak 65% new and 35% 1 year old, fruit sourced from Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley. Deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruit, earthy and floral spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and tart cherry flavors, with vanilla, licorice, citrus and herb spice. Fine tannins, well balanced long finish ending with tart fruit and a sweet earthy mineral character. Nice! A Fav! — 8 days ago
