Wow, you can tell this had some big fruit in its youth...because it’s still prominent. Nose has faded to a sour/candied cherry. Lively acidity wraps dark red fruits, figs, black cherry liquor. Nuts. Looooooong finish. Reminds me of a tawny. Definitely several years left in this old gal, which is wild. — 7 days ago
Classic Russian River Pinot. Round and smooth with a beautiful long finish. — 6 days ago
Beautiful with six or so years in bottle...even better was the recent grab at $50.
Wine candy with cinnamon stick, nutmeg, dark spice, mixed darker fruit cola, some anise to black licorice, dark earth with dry top soil framed in a bright floral bouquet. — 6 days ago
Exceptional. Easy drinking but lots of depth and character. Medium bodied. — 19 days ago
Slight oak on the palate with soft spices and a dark fruit profile. The wine is medium to firm bodIed, has a nice energy, depth yet precision, and the fruit is delicious, there is a slight warmth on the fairly long finish though for me, only little tiny negative point. Worth many Burgundy Villages appellations. 90-91
90-91 — a month ago
