Two Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Deep purple color. Aromas of plum, shiitake mushrooms, earth and oak. Blue and black fruit on the palate, herbs and tasted oak on the finish. A Santa Cruz Mountain classic!

The Springs Heathcote Syrah 2017

Ruby core with a garnet/brick rim. Intense aromas of black olives, burnt rubber, asphalt, violets and mint. Black olive tapenade for days on the palate with additional notes of balsamic vinegar, blueberry and tobacco. Loaded with VA. Pleasant oily (animal fat) texture. Extremely long finish. Medium in body but high in intensity! Only 12% ABV. Totally unique and delicious! Thank you so much for sharing, Kase! — 2 years ago

Amazing how well this has held up. 10 years in my cellar and it is so similar to the wine I tasted back then. It definitely leans a bit towards the new world in ripeness and richness but still has plenty of balance and varietal character. Wild cherry, black plum, red licorice, with lots of sweet spice, brown sugar, and a slightly medicinal undercurrent on the long finish. — 6 years ago

Gravel Ridge Vineyard Chardonnay 2020

Mineral, oak and a bit of bret on the nose. Pretty good acid balance with the fruit. Not overly oaked and not trying to be a butter bomb. Short clean finish. Not deeply complex. — 3 years ago

Joshua Cooper

Ray-Monde Vineyard Pinot Noir 2019

My first Joshua Cooper wine - had to check out the Young Winemaker of the year for 2020 awarded by Gourmet Wine Traveller magazine. Joshua has recently turned 32. This wine was quite rich and dense and a little closed aromatically - obviously quite young. Ripe plum, rose petals, with a little vegetal matter. - a big future ahead. Joshua has had wide experience with Australian wineries and in Burgundy with Domaine de la Vougeraie and Domaine Jean-Jacques Confuron. This wine from the cool climate Macedon Ranges with high profile neighbours like Bindi and Curly Flat. — 5 years ago
