NOSE: chocolate, cooked meat, dark berries, honeycomb, stone and minerals. But all pretty restrained.
TASTE: horse, straw, BBQ, minerals (metals), charcoal, dark berries (but not a lot). BTW, that isn’t meant to be a recipe. Heavy tannin, but smooth. I do not care for the BBQ/smoke profile in wine, but this is very, very good. I imagine this could (should) age for a long time. As you’d expect, gets better with air …94… — 2 years ago
Ok. Not super convincing but good. — 2 months ago

2019 vintage, thoroughly enjoyed March, 2024. Love the essence of butter and honey, this wine is complex and lingers. The bouquet reminds me of sitting in a field of prairie flowers. — 9 months ago

More residual sugar than I expected, and also quite a bit of wood… cedar/oak. Blind tasted it and confused it with a California Chardonnay… — 3 years ago

Lovely Cote Rotie even if unremarkable. Some good dark fruit followed by a spicy finish. Correct but nothing special. — 2 months ago
