Terrific wine. Initially very herbal, with air, and as it approaches ambient temperature, the nose loosens up and shows a lot more facets. Green apple, lemon-lime, high-toned crushed rock dust, lots of freshly-bruised green herbs. Slight toastiness. Nice balance and intensity in the mouth. Very good flavor intensity, vibrant acids, very good length. The importer’s website notes that that silex soil has more in common with Pouilly-Fume than Sancerre, and having read that I now see it. — 4 months ago
Nothing like this wine. Amazing nose. So pure and classy. Olive, meat, blood, blueberry, mint, herbs, gravy, granite and so much more. A symphony of northern Rhone Syrah. Palate has so much freshness and so much clarity it’s really one of the most clean and vivid old school wines I’ve ever had. This is so clean and crystalline but never strays from its somewhat wild roots. What a wine. The granitic force from beginning to the end is something. Such good concentration and so pure. Juicy as all can be. Has those 18 tannins but ripe and sweet. A beautiful bottle of St. Joseph. — 3 months ago

Not lemon custard in a bottle but yuzu custard (attention hip pastry chefs I think I just discovered the next big thing) in a slim bottle.
Cloudy, natural, refreshing with depth and citrus spice.
It has a bizarre aroma that I can't quite place- green papaya sprinkled with an Indian cooking spice but which one is it?
This is definitely a buy again wine.

Beautiful golden colour. Deep nose with complex aromas of every kind of lemon. Stunning palate as well, lemon, yellow apple, mineral, long finish. One year on the lees in foudre. Just delicious. — 12 days ago
