A young Napa cab with a lot of promise. Darker fruit and oak notes. Needs more aging for tertiary development. — 8 months ago
1 hour decant(lots of chunky/fine sediment). A magnificent dark magenta color. On the nose: Compelling notes of dark plum/cherry, musky forest floor, minty chocolate, mushrooms, floral. Taste: explosion of silky wonderfulness with jammy dark fruit, currants, crushed gravel, sweet spice, coffee mocha, and a mineral-graphite longgg finish. YUM! Beautiful with time to go. Had to wade back into the 07 vintage and this worked. — 3 years ago

Enjoyed this with Tim in our new home — 4 years ago
Got this bottle from Dr. Wade for our anniversary, 2020. — 6 years ago
Deep Ruby with black fruit aromas, vanilla, earthy herb scents and soft spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry, with licorice, tobacco and cacao on fine tannins, nice balance. Medium+ finish ending with fruit and earthy oak, very nice and has some room for cellaring. — 7 months ago
Soooo good! Competes with Wade on Chenin. Buy more from Verve! — 2 years ago
100% Pinot Noir from Sonoma. Really well made wine. Smooth. Great color, nice body. Pair with prosciutto wrapped melon. — 6 years ago
All I do is study and occasionally forage the grocery store for sustenance’s day sometimes wine. I’m eh on this. It has a nice sharpness. On the nose some pleasant stones. Sorta like you are hanging at a creek near your camping ground and the rushing river smells so fresh and entices you but as you take off your shoes and wade in the rocks cut your feet a tad. Pleasurable and not. I’d prefer wading into the surf of nice sand. All the same: peaches roses and wet rocks are tasty. Even if they are not in balance they are all enjoyable. Not a fave but not a total miss — 8 years ago
Amazing! Tons of fruit, great mouth feel, Balanced acidity with mild tannins. Wonderful. Will buy more! Tasted against the Jasper James Psao Robles 2022 cab, which was also great, but not up to the John Wade…. — 8 months ago
Great wine! Aromatic, light and airy. Citrus and melon notes. — 4 years ago
Very nice. (From Wade) Smooth finish; crisp. Goes nice with roast chicken dinner but also nice on its own. — 5 years ago
This review is for the "18 Acre" Zinfandel. Note that these guys have a number of zin bottlings... Anyway, this one has a light mist of tannin to wade through, before you reach the deep blackberry, black cherry, and rich, moist garden soil. Or maybe the chocolaty part of a moist black forest cake. Very nice indeed. Speaking of cake, I think I'd like this very much with one of those tall wedges of chocolate cake that take 20 minutes to get through. Well done! — 7 years ago
Really incredible. Even on an off but early accessible year. Nice acidity at this stage. @Wade Chambers, in Burgundy the highs are higher and the lows are lower. — 8 years ago
