This review is for the "18 Acre" Zinfandel. Note that these guys have a number of zin bottlings... Anyway, this one has a light mist of tannin to wade through, before you reach the deep blackberry, black cherry, and rich, moist garden soil. Or maybe the chocolaty part of a moist black forest cake. Very nice indeed. Speaking of cake, I think I'd like this very much with one of those tall wedges of chocolate cake that take 20 minutes to get through. Well done!
