Salty, fresh, and different. This wine is ever-evolving, and always pleasing. Unlike any other style of wine this fino is at the top of its class. Like taking a shot of lemon juice out of an oyster shell. Its flinty nose and chalkiness, leads into a citrus based mid-palate with dehydrated yellow apple skin, and lemon for days. Mouthwatering and thought provoking, one of the best finos I’ve had in a while — 11 days ago
Oranges, Toffee, Hazelnuts. A plate much lighter than you’d guess from the nose.

A pleasant and well-balanced Sherry. Medium bodied and a touch of sweetness. Perfect for a fall night with roasted chicken. Carly likes. — 15 days ago

I love this wine. So much ground pepper and chimney smoke on the nose. It’s like walking around on a rainy or snowy winter day and smelling the sweet perfume of your neighbors chimney. I almost totally dislike the white Listan Blanco Benje. I find that tired and lacking acidity and just tired. I prefer this wine to the more expensive Migan. Migan had more reduction and ethyl acetate on the nose and okay okay it’s more Pinot Noiresque but I don’t need a wine from the Canary Islands to be like a Pinot Noir. #listan #listannegro #canaryislands #spain — 5 days ago
2020 summer. I picked this up when I was itching for some sherry and had to go with the selection at Tokyu. Expecting something basic, I was pleasantly surprised - this had nice intensity and character. Very old and rare sherries aren’t quite the bargains they once were, but the basic bottles from good producers still are awfully satisfying and very fairly priced. — 2 months ago
