Yes…I know..a tad too early. But any chateau that has a lighthouse (built 1611 AD) in the middle of its vineyards deserves a look. And I’m so glad I did. Classic Bordeaux profile made up of 60% Cab, 35% Merlot, and 5% Petit V. With a QPR of $18 this Mèdoc is simply crushing it. Cellar worthy? Absolutely! 😎 — 2 months ago
Flavorful Margaux, still a little young, with prominent tannin, served with Hake Wellington at Chez Rosa restaurant in Kennebunkport, ME — 2 months ago
Apparently this translates to “up all night” or something heeeeeyyyyy — 21 days ago

Lovely light Provençal Rosé. Light strawberry flavor with some vanilla. Perfect with light mild fish. . — 2 months ago
Dark, glass-clinging reddish purple with near opaque core. Lush, inviting nose of baked plum and dark berry cobbler. Equally lush, full palate echoes the nose adding juicy red plum, blackberry, and fruit ash. Velvety medium tannins entry to finish. Medium acidity. Lengthy, dark finish. Can't really go wrong with Pomerol, and this wine is further evidence of that. A good solid vintage from the house that put Michel Rolland on the map. Drink now through 2029. — 3 months ago
Floral and fruity. Not dry at all. Honeysuckle with a hint of minerality — a month ago
Deep red fruit, cassis, slightly dusty. Explodes at first, then recedes with time. Wow. — a month ago

2014 drunk in 2024. Who knew this would hold up so well over 10 years? At the 2014 price I stand by my earlier statements that this was the best value American wine. Will need to pick up some later vintages to see if this still holds up. — 16 days ago
