Dolcetto d'Alba 2021

Lots of fruit on the nose, followed by more fruit on the palate. Subtle dry tannins, but very smooth. It's definitely not as exciting as it's Nebbiolo neighbors, but those can also be quite a force to be reckoned with. This is a nice, easy wine to sip whilst chatting with friends. Lovely! — 8 days ago

Dolcetto di Dogliani 2019

I tried this twice, once early in 2022 and now-August 2023. Very nice well structured dolcetto that is a little bigger than what I look for in the type of wine, but now quite elegant and opening beautifully. Good value. — a year ago

Sori dij But Dogliani Dolcetto 2016

More dark fruited than tonight’s other Dolcetto, ripe, more full-bodied, nice balance, long finish, very nice Dolcetto! — 2 months ago

Vilot Dolcetto d'Alba 2020

Served slightly chilled, flavor profile shows ripe dark plums, some nice underlying minerality, and enough structure to support aging another 3-5 years (I’ve gradually come around to the view that well-made Dolcettos, like some Cru Beaujolais, can age quite well), very good!! — 2 months ago

San Luigi Dogliani Dolcetto 2021

Nice dolcetto from Dogliani. Fresh and lots of fruit - with nice length, great acid, and quite complete. Medium minus tannins. Would be one to try in a couple years. — a month ago

Very enjoyable simpler dolcetto. Great with pizzas on a warm summer day by the pool with a slight chill. — 2 months ago
