Pinot Noir 2012

Surprised it’s been over four years since I last tasted this vintage. And hasn’t it developed! Much more towards savoury and charcuterie flavours now, although some dark cherry remains. Slightly drying finish, faintly reminiscent of cocoa. It’s certainly much softer and mature than I recall, moving into its autumnal phase. Drink soon, I’d say. — 9 months ago

cinnamon, clove, cooked strawberry, cooked cranberry, and pomegranate on the palate. Medium alcohol, low tannin, and high acid. Aging nicely.
