Bright and and cheery with just the right amount of softness. Not full bodied, creamy, or oaky. Not a big wine, but food friendly with a pan fried pork chop. — a month ago
A little green in flavor (as in unripe), too acidic, but had some elements of tropical fruit, just not full and ripe. Has potential but not the best. — 4 months ago
Loved it. Fruity but also lots of mineral undertones. Smooth but plenty of acidity to keep it clean and crisp. I would say it is still going strong. No problems with the age. — 6 months ago
Complex Chardonnay. A blend of minerality, sea air, and mild tropical fruits. Very interesting and enjoyable! — 22 days ago
Very nice but not as aromatic as other vineyards from Kistler. Maybe just getting a bit old and less fruity at 5 years? Or it may be the vineyard. Still enjoyed it. — 3 months ago
It had some refined elements but I believe it wasn’t holding up for its relatively young age. Probably should have had it in 2023, but I didn’t buy it until 2024….it had already turned an off-yellow color, not a nice fresh golden or lighter color.. I would say not worth the price. — 4 months ago
Enjoyable, smooth, big, oaky chard. — 23 days ago
Great value. Light biscuit and some pear flavors. Really enjoyed it. — 25 days ago
No problems noted despite the age. Very good, but not outstanding. The nose was great at about 30 minutes-1 hour in the glass. The nose seemed to fade over the evening, but still very nice. Acidity is notable. Earthy flavors, tobacco, dried fruit. Great experience trying a 41 year old vintage! — 3 months ago
