Nice Corton that is loyal to this strong bodied appellation, still young with some fruit and a nice structure, integrated oak with a slightly dry and rustic finish. 90-91
Beau Corton fidèle à l’appellation, ne montrant pas trop son âge, encore du fruit, belle structure avec un boisé assez intégré sur une belle finale encore un peu rustique et une touche asséchante. — 20 days ago
Firm (though tannins are soft) and nicely structured. Ripe black fruit with notes of mushroom and loamy earth. Hint of spice, minerals and black licorice on the nice long finish. Deep garnet color. — 7 days ago
Medium gold color. Great mineral driven nose. Notes of citrus, apricot skin, dusty light colored earth, some tan spice and some gravel stone. Big and rich in the mouth. Still has a big core of fruit with some serious structure to match. Long and lasting finish. Has a heaviness to it. Bottles like this one have several great years in front of it yet. — 25 days ago
HAPPY Thanksgiving! A Burgundy Thanksgiving part 1. Oysters overnight from Hog Island Oysters!
Double decant and pour. A irresistible pale straw color. On the nose: lemon, floral, toasted almonds, pear, vanilla. Taste: A rich, creamy, big wine with citrus, minerals, spicy oak, crushed stone, and a long honey peach dry finish. Great start. Cheers! — 2 days ago
More advanced than I would have thought for the vintage and other comparable white Burgs from the same yr. Mot pre-mixed at all; just showing it’s age. Exhibiting squash-yellow aromas; good balance and length. Drink up. — a day ago
Amaze-balls. Incredible wine. Unreal color. Light on the palate, but surprising amount of body. Ethereal in a fantastic way. Structured. Long + finish. Happy to say I own a ton of this, in a variety of vintages. Cannot wait to get even more involved with this. — 7 days ago
