Easy drinking. A little spice on the end, and moderately tannic. Liked it! — 4 years ago

A nicely aged Spanish Red from Ribera Del Duero.
Showing black and red fruits with earth notes, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, herbs, spices, dark chocolates and peppercorn.
Full bodied with medium acidity.
Long finish with firm tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 23 Year old is drinking very nicely now with a nice mouthfeel and good structure.
Needs a couple of hours to open up properly and show the tannins.
Nicely balanced with nice complexity. A great sipping wine.
I paired it with a cheese plate and crackers.
13% alcohol by volume.

Awesome! Never tasted anything like this. Intense, orange marmelade, good acidity en syrupy sweetness — 2 years ago
