Medium intensity nose has golden plum, a fresh floral note, and some crushed stone. It’s pretty large-framed in the mouth. The acids are on the lowish side, but it’s got a minerality and a slight bitter note as the finish progresses that enlivens it. Good flavor intensity. The alcohol pooks through a little, but it should be nice with Milanese cutlets. — 6 months ago
From goblet-trained old-vine Clairette in Lirac (vineyard was “planted before 1870) on a hill overlooking the Rhône on the west side of the river, this lovely white wine shows honey and minerals, also some very nice acidity to balance, Clairette (which I adore) rarely shows the more viscous textural notes I get from southern Rhône Blancs that are mostly Roussanne and/or Marsanne (the latter mostly found in the northern Rhône), very good finish, lovely wine!!
I have actually walked this vineyard (6 years ago), the gnarled old vines are a pretty cool sight!! — a year ago
Sixteen-year south Rhône white with staying power. — a year ago
Quite pale lemon , straw colour . On the nose this shows good freshness with some white peach , lemon pith , white flowers and light seabreeze notes . On the palate this has a creamy texture with white peach , lemon notes , with a saline seaside tinge . Good freshness and decent length . I can imagine this going really well with bouillabaisse. Drinking well and probably continue to so over the next 3-4 years — a year ago

God tier wine! When Jesus turned water into wine, this is what I imagine he made. Desecrated fruit on the nose, taking me to the depths. Cherry notes, high acidity, high tannins, like licking the lacquer off a wooden table but you like it — 7 months ago

After a breathe there’s a lot of citrus that subtly starts to introduce itself. Clean as can be, the bright and broadened nose brings along a luscious wallop to the palate. It’s kind of something to behold, and that will be noticed, frankly. Feels like a beautiful and luscious red, wrapped in the body of a voluptuous rose. There, I said it. It’s a full-bodied rose with joyous nuance to explore. — 9 months ago
