Château Roc De Cambes

Domaine Le Roc

Cuvée Don Quichotte Fronton 2015

Forgotten bottle at my in laws. What a good surprise! Didn't know I had left it there 🤷🏻‍♂️.
This is again a very biaised review as this comes from a vineyard located 10 miles away from where I grew up. A blend of negrette and syrah.
There is a strong violet, blackberry, irony, pepper nose. Very inviting. The palate is very much defined by its acid backbone and its vibrant blackberry and cherry note. There is a huge tannins wall in the middle here, drying up everything in its wake but making way to a fruity, peppery finish with a fruity twist. Huge wine for less than 10 euros

Rosé d'Anjou 2019

Light and a little sweet. Strawberries and peaches, not complex but enjoyable to drink without thinking too much about it. Works well with spicy Asian food. — 2 months ago

Domaine Lafond

Roc Epine Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend 2012

Lafond Chateauneuf du Pape Roc-Epine is a deep red fruited, elegant wine. Predominantly Grenache (80%), Syrah (10%), Mourvèdre (10%).
The Syrah gives a very nice spicy twist. Overall dense, dark plum and spice. Very enjoyable!

Domaine Le Roc Des Anges

Reliefs Côtes du Roussillon Carignan Grenache 2013

Pleasantly surprised as I don’t usually like organic wine. Not too much funk. Very similar to a Sauvignon Blanc - fruits, acid, lemon, apple, honey, some oak. Even had it a day or two old as Kenlee couldn’t finish his bottle after passing out on the couch… — 6 days ago

Domaine Lafond

Roc-Epine Lirac Grenache Blend 2010

Rolled the dice on this older Lirac and got lucky. Beautifully aged Grenache displaying pure, ripe strawberries, plum, gravel, black tea, leather, and earth. Super soft tannins, m+ acid, and a long complex finish. Will go perfectly with the lamb chops we’re grilling for dinner. — 2 months ago
