Deep Ruby with aromas of berry fruits, smoky spice and earthy notes. A blend of 80% Merlot & 20% Cab Franc, 100% new oak, on the palate flavors Blackberry, Plum and Cherry, with notes of espresso, vanilla and cedar, lively acidity with great mouthfeel. Fine tannins, long finish ending with cedar, tobacco and toasty earthy spice, needs some time to develop. — 6 months ago
The 2013 L'Eglise-Clinet has a clean and precise bouquet with black fruit, sous-bois, shavings of black truffle and hints of morels. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins on the entry, red fruit laced with mocha and delicate acidity with a harmonious, if simplistic (for this estate) finish. Fine. Rich, velvety with a hint of dryness. Good even the second day. Lemon and dry leather with a hint of minerals and earth. — 5 months ago
Very good!! Bordeaux a must try!!! — 10 months ago
I don’t know much about this as I am fairly new. This 2018 I smell spices and floral notes but mostly chocolate flavors I find in a bit light with medium tannins and acidity. — 3 months ago

At 47 years this wine sings with well preserved fruit and aromatics. Solid cork did its job. Quite fun to share and drink. 👍👍🍷🍷 — 7 months ago
Well balanced! Frisch und aromatisch, einfach toll dass wir diesen Wein heute drinken dürfen. — 3 years ago

Not sure why 2011 gets a bad rap. This bottle had all the elements of a classic BDX. Didn’t have the wow factor just solid as you can hope. — 6 days ago
