Not many beers brewed like this anymore. Literally pine trees in a forest with a hint of maple syrup. I get some citrus and raw ginger, but then that sweetness cutting through followed by bitters. The bitterness is so huge but balanced. This is a beer to experience rather than slug. — 4 days ago
Happy International Champagne Day! In celebration of the day i have opened the Louis Roederer Brut Premier NV Champagne. A beautifully fun expression of the Louis Roederer estate blended Champagne. A blend of 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier. 55% Estate Vineyards 16% Fermented and matured in oak 30% Malolactic.
On the nose I get pungent notes, lemon cream, brioche, green apple, white flowers, yeasty bread and smokey notes.
On the palate there is lemon curd, white peach, tart citrus notes, toast, currant and a minerality.
This Champagne is medium to full bodied with a creamy rich texture and medium + acidity that moves seamlessly into a long crisp citrus mineral finish. I hope everyone is having a wonderful International Champagne Day and are enjoying something beautiful. Please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂 — 4 days ago
Celebration wine! Good, full body but light on palette. — 2 days ago
Very nice bubbly found at our local grocery wine dept..$29.99! Throw in the $10 employer gift card for working the pandemic and 25 cents fuel savers..it all makes this bottle a memorable celebration indeed! 🤣
I am enjoying this bubbly..1st time! Nice red delicious apples, pear, peach and brioche! Great length and nice acidity to counter the fruit! I would get this again! — 13 days ago
Bright, slightly rosy beige. Fine persistent bubbles and quickly dissipating white mousse. Abundant nose of Royal Anne cherry and ashy toast. Palate echoes the nose. Medium plus acidity (natch) with a moderately long dusty cherry finish. All of the complexity that a Blanc de Noirs should bring in a reasonably priced package. A great Champagne to enhance any meal or celebration. Drink it when you buy it, of course. — 14 days ago
Champagne is for celebrating & today is a day most worthy of celebration. The Ruinart N/V Rosé is always solid at a 92 on the palate but, today its celebration value is a solid 10.
I will let my many previous notes stand while we enjoy celebrating! Cheers all! 🍾🥂 — 25 days ago
