Really nice, concentrated cherry nose here... On the palate, this is more and deeper cherry finishing rather short. Clean throughout. I suppose that makes this fairly simple, but very enjoyable too. For what it's worth, this came alive when paired with beef jerky though with those same cherry notes. — 12 days ago
An incredibly compelling and age-worthy Chard from Canada’s Okanagan Valley. In an oakier style than I normally prefer but balanced and nicely integrated acidity, salinity and citrus fruit. — 17 days ago
Black fruit and herbs on the nose and palate. This pairs well with Moroccan lamb shoulder — 10 days ago
Never in my dreams would I think of really enjoying Ontario red wine, and secondly, enjoying an Ontario Pinot Noir. This was delicious. Perfect for a late summer evening dinner. Notes of red/dark cherries, raspberries, blueberries, followed by cloves, mild leather, and mild peppery tobacco, with refreshingly well balanced tannin. A complex, beautifully expressed Pinot, that surprisingly can hold up with a steak. Also a great $$ value. — 2 days ago
Phenomenal. Every other year I open one of these bottles from 2016 and the evolution keeps impressing me. On the nose, has a character of rainy ancient west coast forest. On the palate, Blackberry, blueberry, with hints of dark cherry. Blended perfectly with a rich, aged, leather. Hints of cedar wood, slightly smoked. Perfectly balanced. Only going to keep getting better over the next few years. — 3 days ago
On the nose, I'm getting black cherry, black currant, and black bicycle inner tube... On the palate, it's raspberry, black current, and raspberry leaf... Medium body, and enough acidity to pair with a summer steak in the yard... A medium finish laced with herbal... — 8 days ago
On the nose, this is violet and blackberry concentrated... This nose is great... Is there some bramble in here too? On the palate, this enhances the blackberry... Deep, deep... Eucalyptus... Always such a great buy on the Naramata bench... The finish is medium, but really tasty here... I think that's a good way of describing this one... Tasty... There are levels of complexity for Bordeaux blends beyond this one, but really the deep dark fruit and bramble here are a double note that's really done well here! — a day ago
Crisp, vibrant, refreshing, delicious cider. Grapefruit sweetness is very balanced. One of my favourites from this cidery! — 15 days ago
