Borgo Magredo

Borgo San Daniele

Mauri Vignaioli Friulano

This is a really good wine but definitely not a crowd pleaser. It starts off with melon and then turns to something like a dry, not-sweet mead. Cool and interesting. — a month ago

Il Borgo

Bio Sicilia Nero d'Avola

Very good dry red. Drank it on a humid summer night and it was great — 2 months ago

Borgo Scopeto (Tenuta Caparzo)

Borgonero Toscana IGT SuperTuscan Blend 2015

John Howard

Killer super Tuscan. My favorite kind, with a good amount of Sangiovese in it. Mouth watering. — 3 months ago

Borgo Savaian

Aransat L.A 19 Orange Pinot Grigio Sauvignon

Great orange wine with nice balance and body. Crisp start but developed finish. — a month ago

Borgo Paglianetto

Petrara Verdicchio di Matelica

In a professional degustation anywhere in this world I would give him a good 8.8.

But here, in Mondolfo/Marche, Osteria El Gatt, seafruit plate on the table, almost empty beach-view given by the Corona-effect....and with my smiling girl-friend in front of’s a 10!

Let’s compromise on a 9.3!

Il Borgo Toscana Sangiovese Blend 2013

2013 vintage. Super-Tuscan blend. Needs 1.5+ hours to decant and then red and blue fruit balances tertiary tar and mineral flavors. Not quite the fruit zing or acid of great Sangiovese but complex and enjoyable. Probably 1-2 years left. $40 at bev shop near Kings in Gillette. — 3 months ago
