Very smooth. Nice finish. 2019 on 5/27/23 — 5 days ago
Black cherry and plum tart emerging through aromas of violets dotting brown breads, shiitake and black oak. Cinnamon, cedar and clove coalesce. Raspberry reduction with currants. Hints of mints. Tart cherry palate brings cherry reduction and black currants, tons of dark cedar wrapped cigar, tart blackberry, peppercorn and cinnamon stick. Green notes suggest this is still young and half-blossomed despite the quarter century. Grainy tannins, though rounded.

Dark scarlet color with a deep center. Notes of black cherry, cola, roses, cassis, some spice and a little wood char. Amazing perfume in the nose. Smooth and silky in the mouth. Lots of drama with this one, and many agreed the 59 was better than the 45, the 61 and 82 Latours beside it. Bravo! — 12 days ago
Not bad, esp for $23. Great summer wine! Fizzy muscat with just the right amount of acidity. Minerality , lime, salt. Dry wine that’s not sweet at all. Green apple. 10.5% can drink this all day — 19 days ago
