If you have not tried German Pinot yet, aka Spatburgunder, this is a very, very good entry point, though not the easiest to find. Their Liaison might be an easier find and a worthwhile search as well.
Tasted over a few days: Fruit for days, earthy tones, some spice and lots of florals. The nose is med+, while the body is med, acidity is med/med+, abv is at the edge of med/med+ at 13.5, tannin are med and very finely grained, supple.
Day 1 was more fruit, day 2 the complexity deepened, day 3 was a few days later (first 2 were via Coravin) it was about the same as day 2.
Probably the best Spat for me to date, a few more of these from time to time would be nice. — 20 days ago
It's hard not to appreciate something so pretty to stare through. And also how this doesn't fall right in line with the rest of the orange army lining the shelves these days. This has substance. 13.5% ABV of substance and depth. Interesting notes of incenses, body oils, and sandalwoods - blood orange and basil reduction and cedar plank too.
Like the smells from shelves at the local gift shop, reaching out to grab you walking by. — 12 days ago
Reminds me of something like Ecto Cooler or Hi-C, glowing orange stuff, strangled from the box and through a straw for every drop. Personality and expression and who cares if it's not particularly complex. Too many other reasons to enjoy.
Like leaping scents of exotic sour mango, salty peach, apricot, and sandalwood. A little bit of grip and texture and a whole lotta fun. — 19 days ago
A bit shut down. Minty, and some piquant red fruit on the nose but on night two it’s still a bit basic. Very juicy and delivers on the palate. Needs a lot more time.

Love this wine. So clean. Apple, pear, skoche of wood. It’s a bit cold so the nose is not as expressive. Palate is ripe and juicy with amazingly clearly defined fruit. Very refined Lügle. Elegant and salty with lovely lime zest and framing sweet wood. Long. Needs to open and warm up. 9.3 for now. So round and so fresh. Lovely purity. Such a great wine. — 15 days ago
In the hottest summer since forever, Enderle & Moll Spat rose is the solution to my Texas problem. This works for when I want red and red doesn't want to work. It's the heart and soul of German Spat with the ability to quench thirst. A cool dip off Liason, with more texture and thicker concentration.
It doesn't look like Rose'. It looks like 20 year old Barolo - crimson with browned edges. Awesome cherry laden notes. Fresh bing - dark to stain your fingers. And candied cherry too - like Ludens cough drops. And mint and menthol. And that texture - this is 13.5% ABV, but not syrupy the way Bandol rose's can be.
It's own exceptional thing. Drink at cellar temp. — a month ago

Damn. Liaison....every year. 2019 is all about elegance and femininity. Grand Cru stuff. Burgundian by weight, Germanic in tone. Impossible expression crammed in the most dainty little box. Looks like it could be thin, but it's not. Murky, unfiltered, straddles the tradition and the wild. Bright red cherries and mossy forresty, earth...strawberries and rosemary on the periphery. What a bargain. — 6 days ago
