Holy sh*t this has hit a new level. Floral as all get out with ripe jasmine and pressed white flowers. Gained massive volume with a few years of age; tremendous rocky bite, phenolic, smokey, notes of caramel, brûlée, tangerine essential oil. Just fantastic. — 4 months ago
An incredibly powerful, oxidative wine from Jura. The intensely nutty, salty, oily, honied flavors were magical with the “Pastured chicken, preserved lemon, garlic confit” dish which tasted braised and white-saucey.
This would also be perfect with stinky cheese! — a day ago
Oily, sherry-like, great acid. Fantastic bubbly. — 3 months ago
Always been a great fan of Sancerre Rouge, this one is absolute gold, lovely delicate berries, light, and an absolute joy, replaces definately Rosé as a summer wine — 6 months ago
Could this be the best value I’ve ever tasted? It’s right up there. Sweet purple fruits, mineral backbone, grilled meat. A lovely lavender note; both dried and fresh, excellent length on the finish. I love lower ABV Syrah that is not underripe; 12.5%. Does have some tannin; I’m interested to revisit in 3-5 years. From Fass selections — 2 days ago
Lots of dark fruit—dark cherry, blackberry, plum. Dense. Slightly perfumed. Tannic. Easy to enjoy. — 4 months ago

Wish I knew the base year and other relevant info re this bottle. I’ve had it a couple years. Lovely stuff. Since they claim to make 1911 bottles, what do they do with the rest if “more” is vinified? — 12 days ago
