Dark ruby coloration. On the nose, cherry, a baked cherry, florals, earth and thyme. On the palate, cherry, thyme and earth. With the flavors evolving in that order: fruit first, with some florals, followed by long lasting thyme and finally finishing with a dusty earthiness. Medium to full body with tannins still quite bold but balanced well enough. $60 at total wine. — 9 days ago

First bottle was aged, second was good. It may have been the cork. — 11 days ago
Appropriately elevated level of concentration and complexity for the TB Riserva. The structure is slightly ill defined but everything is there in harmony. — 9 days ago
Clear, light bodied, classic Italian “table wine”, bitter on its own but tastes like strawberry when paired with chocolate. — 25 days ago
First ever grappa. Needs lots of time to breathe. Reminds me of a brandy with heady notes of caramel, vanilla, cedar, fruits, and a touch of flowers. I don't have a comparison point other than fine whiskeys and brandies, to which, I'd say this compares very favorably.
