63% Temp, 17% Petite Verdot, 10% Graciano, 9% Tannat. Dark color. Almost black in low light. Aromas of smoke, cherry cobbler and licorice root. Maybe slight petrichor. Flavors are nice. Dense and fruit driven. Cherry pits and licorice chews (the Dutch salty, fruit flavored kind). Hint of herbal backbone (sage and basil meet mint and marjoram). For its fairly low price (think this was $12.99) this is a great CA wine. Restrained but big. Fruity but balanced. Fun but elegant. And it’s from just up da road! Nice work neighbors. — 2 years ago

All estate fruit from 3 vineyards in Naramata: Rockyfeller, Golden Mile and Freedom 75. All fruit is hand picked and sorted.
Dark ruby red in colour. Ripe raspberries, black fruit, eucalyptus and cigar box on the nose.
Cassis, dark berries, savoury herbs and scrub brush with smooth, fine tannins and a crisp, acidic fresh finish.

Dark, ripe cherry with integrated soft earthy tannins giving it a very nice finish. Notes of leader, fig and spice. We drank out of a stainless steel thermos with our picknick, baguette, salami, fig spread and various Italian cheeses picknick after a 2.5 mile hike along the abandoned rail road with a roaring Payette river as the back ground. Vertical with John Duvall Winery Shiraz 2015 vs 2016. The 15 was lush, full bodied with great spice and depth. Perfect pairing with bbq grilled pork chops, sautéed red onions, red peppers and mushrooms. Heck after 9 mile float on the Payette from Cascade doen river, everything tasted awesome!!! — 4 years ago
