Big and broad, chewy tannins, ripe lush, rich berries with bigger spice and wonderful florals that should be heaven in another 7-8 years.

Expressive, red fruit forward, warm herbal, cheek tantalizing Shiraz. We tasted it with a variety of salamis and cheeses. Most hard cheeses took away from the wine and made it sharper, single note. A softer herbal blue cheese added. A truffled infused salami from Brazil supported the wine. Others not really. Amazingly it rose to incredible heights with some heated up leftover grilled lamb grilled lamb. Gave it depth with earthy and fall forest floor notes.

Vertical with John Duvall Winery Shiraz 2015 vs 2016. The 15 was lush, full bodied with great spice and depth. Perfect pairing with bbq grilled pork chops, sautéed red onions, red peppers and mushrooms. Heck after 9 mile float on the Payette from Cascade doen river, everything tasted awesome!!!
