First try of Foillard and it does live up to the (high) reputation. There’s such a lovely tamed softness here with exceptional integration and length on the palate that I don’t feel the need to qualify that in the context of the grape/region. This is a sophisticated wine that I’m happily drinking now but will surely age well for 5-10 years. — 5 years ago
Full bodied nice and dry but a taste that is beyond a regular cab. Smooth and an exquisite grape that leaves the pallet wanting more! Love it!! — 4 years ago
Fresh, crisp , with very fruity notes of citrus — 5 years ago
Nice long legs, dark purplish color hints of cherry and coco and nice balance from the American oak soften tannins but still a full body — 10 months ago
Super sweet and oaky on first open but matured up with a 3 hour decant
Still quite fruity but with steak, it gives a lot of red berry fruit and the oak is reasonable and the sweetness is gone with the airtime.
Overall good wine but I thought it lost out to the Paul Hobbs LPV ‘14. — a year ago
Interesting and fun with a good steak and brussel sprouts. Dark dark dark. Smooth in the sip and light in the swallow. — 5 years ago

Sweet and Smokey. Loved this. Perfect mix of ripe dark fruits and kick. Great length. Half bottle. Awesome! — a month ago
