While the southern Rhône may have been their target, the bright red fruit aroma, lovely floral notes on the nose plus crunchy red fruit, bright tartness and medium bodied palate do indeed invoke Cru Beaujolais; agree with @Randy Fuller there. Given some time to breathe wafts up strawberry and faint spices plus a trace of oaky vanilla - I’m digging the ying/yang balance of fruit versus acid but still a bit more oak than my Old World palate prefers.
